1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by the website. They keep the website working, remember your preferences, analyse traffic and in some cases serve advertising.

On the first visit we show a cookie banner with a choice. You can accept all cookies, reject optional ones, or set them individually.

Cookies fall into four categories by purpose:

• Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site. We measure most-visited pages, time spent, other statistics.
• Marketing: serve relevant advertising on other sites you visit.

We use third-party tools that also store their own cookies in your browser:

• Google Analytics 4: traffic and behaviour analysis
• Google Tag Manager: measurement code management
• Microsoft Clarity: anonymous heatmaps and sessions for UX improvement
• Cloudflare Turnstile: form spam protection
• Sklik and Google Ads: ad campaign targeting (only with consent)

4. How to manage cookies

You can manage cookies in two ways:

Via our cookie banner: settings can be changed any time by clicking "Cookies" in the footer or "Manage cookies" in the banner.

Via your browser settings: every modern browser allows you to view, block or delete cookies. The procedure differs per browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). See the browser help for details.

Note that disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

5. Retention

Cookies have different lifetimes by purpose:

• Session cookies: deleted on browser close
• Persistent cookies: stay until expiration or manual removal
• Most analytics cookies expire after 13 months
• Marketing cookies typically 90 days to 2 years
